MANP BOARD OF DIRECTORS

The Mississippi Association of Nurse Practitioners’ Board of Directors is comprised of ten volunteer nurse practitioners from across the state. Our board members are a diverse group whose areas of practice range from hospitalists to private practice owners. All positions are voluntary for Board and committee service. They all share one goal: to help build a strong, united association dedicated to Nurse Practitioners and committed to APRNs practicing to the fullest extent of their education and training.  Our association advocates for better access to healthcare for patients in Mississippi as related to APRN practice.

Nominations for 2025-2026 Board positions will open on July 15, 2024, 4:00 pm at the 2024 10th Anniversary Annual Conference and Membership Meeting in Gulf Shores, AL. Nominations will be accepted from self-nominations or nominations by a current member. The nominee must complete the candidate packet and return to MANP office prior to the deadline. Packet submissions will be accepted from July 15 beginning at 4:00 pm and closing at 11:59 pm on July 30th. Nominees will be vetted for qualifications and submitted for approval by the Executive Committee before September 1 to become official candidates. Official candidates will be posted to the website for review. The ballots will be made available to current members to cast votes from October 1-30. Lapsed or expired members will not be allowed to cast votes. The link for the ballot will be sent to the email on file with the MANP office. Please make sure your email and contact information has been updated in your profile prior to elections.  Members should check their spam folders for communications.
